The Bitterroot FabLab is an initiative of the Bitterroot College made possible by a generous donation from the Rob & Terry Ryan Foundation and through a U.S. Department of Labor TAACCCT III Grant award.
We provide a regular schedule of classes and workshops to train members and the general public. These workshops focus on design and developing skills on machines and software that drives them. We work with schools and libraries to develop curriculum, provide training for educators, and experience modern manufacturing technology like 3D printers. Contact us if you would like to bring your class for hands on field trip.
Makers like us are united by the desire to share knowledge, collaborate and to "make almost anything." Our network and patrons include people of all kinds: students, teens, families, entrepreneurs, artists, hobbyist, gamers, hackers, engineers, scientists, teachers, librarians, activists and more. We welcome those interested to join the conversation and discover more about who we are!
All memberships include access to the lab during standard hours, compli-mentary lab safety and orientation courses, instruction on lab workstations and equipment, special invitations to lab events and activities, and one free guest per visit. Supplies and materials are available for purchase or can be brought by members. Any proceeds from Fablab revenue are used for the future sustainability of the lab.
Open for Public Access on Saturdays.
The FabLab is a community resource that gives you access to the tools, training, and community you'll need to feel comfortable making just about anything. Memberships are now open to everyone, so join us today! Our Hours are:
